np: Blind Summer Fish - Sakamoto Maaya
Some people have been asking me if the X OVA is worth buying. Let's put it this way: if you love X, if you plan to watch every single episode of the TV series (no matter what it'd cost you... ^^;;), then it IS worth buying. It's REALLY worth it. But if you only look at X with a glance, then don't. You'd be disappointed by the 23 minutes length.
Me? I'm NOT disappointed. When I see the quality of the animation, I know that's the quality of the TV series then! And my God... it'd be such a beautiful TV series!

Have I mentioned that I also got my Chobits 2? *grin* It's the limited edition version, and the cell phone strap now is hanging proudly from my Nokia. ^^ And I also got a Chii pin. Kawaii! I'd wear it when I go to the bon odori. v^^
Okay, to my imouto-tachi and darling friends, I need to know what format of the X OVA you want. DivX? Or VCD? Harley would make the DivX format as good as the original DVD. So let me know ASAP! As-chan, you want yours to be DivX, then? Okay! And all Noir episodes? I'm going to send at least 3 CDs to you then! ^____^
Anyway, the DivX version would be the 1st priority, so if you want the VCD format, you might have to wait for a while. ^^;; Gomen! And thank my darling Harley!

np: Lain's Theme (Serial Experiments Lain)
I still want to continue my rambling about X OVA. So if you don't wanna read it... skip it, okay? ^^;;
I get the DVD version. Beautiful cover, beautiful 12-pages booklet and the DVD itself is nice too. Its length is 43-something minutes. 23 minutes of the OVA itself, and the rest are for the making of the OVA and interviews with the director and the seiyuu of Kamui and Fuuma.
It begins with a beautiful scene of 2 Shinken, 2 Kamuis and lots of feathers. Impressions of seeing the characters:
Kamui - *drools* so his seiyuu isn't Seki Tomokazu-sama, but Suzumura Kenichi is good. He can scream nicely, and his voice is wonderful when he sings Yakusoku, Kamui and Fuuma's image song.
Fuuma - *drools even more* his seiyuu now is better than Narita Ken, IMHO. And his chara design makes him looks really SEXY! Oh, his singing voice is nice too!
Kakyou - *drops down and worships* I think Kakyou is one of the best chara designs on the OVA. Ueda Yuuji is PERFECT. He looks and sounds more masculine than on the manga, and his CLOTHES! I love his clothes! Especially on his scene with Kotori!
Hokuto - also one of the best designs. *thumbs-up* Yukino Satsuki is amazing! She sounds so cute, mischievous, naughty and at the same time confident. I love Hokuto here!
Seishirou - he's slightly different than the manga version. He looks even deadlier! His voice is not quite as deep as I expected, but it's nice. He sounds snappy, cynical and sexy. And when he makes that inverted pentagram with his cigarette... *drools*
Subaru - on the contrary, Subaru's voice is deeper than I expected. *grin* But I like it. He sounds cold, aloof and his scenes with his ofuda... And when he lights Seishirou's cigarette... *faints* It looks more wonderful animated!
Arashi and Sorata - *snickers* Both look really lovely. Sorata's voice and accent is perfect. Arashi's voice is nice too. And they look really cute together!
Yuzuriha and Kusanagi - kawaii! Kusanagi-san is cute in a macho kind of way. Inuki is also cool! Yuzu-chan... kawaii! *is speechless*
Aoki and Karen - COOL! Karen looks really hot. Aoki-san is very handsome. *swoons* And when they both unleash their power... Kyaaaaaaa...!
Satsuki - Satsuki is not one of my fave chara on X. But animated, she looks... AMAZING. I love her design! And Kuwashima Houko is wonderful as her seiyuu. She sounds more mature than when she's on Noir, but colder!
Yuuto - oh, he's beautiful. His smiles, his gestures, the way he says, "Because someone will be sad...".
Nataku - Kumai Motoko sounds less feminine than when she did Li Syaoran. But you're gonna love the scene when Nataku lays its head on Fuuma's lap. *snickers* Fuuma also looks very evil there.
Hinoto and Kanoe - OMG! Kanoe actually looks BEAUTIFUL and SEXY! Amazing! Hinoto sounds very sweet, and she's really beautiful too!
Kotori - hmm... not as beautiful as the manga OR the movie versions, IMHO. But her voice makes up for it. It's not as soft as Iwao Junko, but it makes her sound stronger! And her scenes with Kakyou... when she gets the angel wings... Kyaaaa...
The important manga scenes: Kakyou's side story, Fuuma vs. Kamui on vol. 8 (y'know... the necking scene. XD), Seishirou vs. Subaru at Nakano Sun Plaza, Yuzuriha's side story, Satsuki vs. Yuzuriha, Karen and Aoki at Ikebukuro, Sorata saying to Arashi that he would die for her, and some others I bet I forget. ^^;;;
Now I can't wait to see the TV series! ^__________^
